Structure
Nine bodies, each with a defined remit. Membership is announced as it is confirmed; nothing below is a placeholder for a person who has already agreed.
Senior researchers from outside the two host organisations. They advise on scope, on the quality threshold the first edition sets, and on the conference’s direction beyond 2027. They do not review papers.
Membership to be announced
The organisers have not yet published the international advisory committee. This section is filled in as appointments are confirmed.
Owns the conference across editions: its charter, the relationship with IEEE Jordan Section and Aqaba University of Technology, and the decision on whether and where a second edition runs.
Membership to be announced
The organisers have not yet published the steering committee. This section is filled in as appointments are confirmed.
Reviews every submission. Each of the seven tracks is chaired independently and has its own reviewer pool, so a paper is judged by people who work in its area. The Technical Program Chair coordinates across tracks and resolves conflicts.
Track chairs and reviewer pools
Announced once the track chairs have accepted and their reviewer pools are assembled, ahead of the 15 January 2027 submission deadline.
Camera-ready compliance, IEEE PDF eXpress checking, the IEEE electronic copyright forms, the conference booklet, and delivery of the proceedings to IEEE for the IEEE Xplore submission.
Membership to be announced
The organisers have not yet published the publications committee. This section is filled in as appointments are confirmed.
Distribution of the call for papers through IEEE Sections, Chapters and Student Branches, mailing lists, and the conference’s own channels, in the region and internationally.

The organisers have not yet published the sponsorship and industry liaison. This section is filled in as appointments are confirmed.
Budget, registration fee structure, payment handling and the financial reporting the conference owes its organisers after the event.

Venue and room allocation, the hybrid stream and its operators, catering, accommodation blocks, airport transfers, and the running of the three days on site.

Students from Aqaba University of Technology and from IEEE Student Branches in Jordan, staffing registration, session rooms, the help desk and the stream. Recruitment opens closer to the conference.
Membership to be announced
The organisers have not yet published the student volunteers. This section is filled in as appointments are confirmed.
Open call
The review pools for all seven tracks are being assembled now, and the conference is actively looking for reviewers. This is a real request, not a formality: a first edition has no reviewer base to inherit, and the quality of the proceedings is decided entirely by who agrees to read for it.
What it involves:
Write to info@ieeesea.net with your name, affiliation, the track or tracks you can review for, and a link to your publication record — a Google Scholar, ORCID or ResearchGate profile is enough.
Also welcome
Proposals to chair a track, run a workshop or tutorial, or organise a special session go to the same address. Say which track it sits in and what you would need from the organisers.
